Vehicle Description:

This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is a two-door hardtop that is finished in red and white over a matching interior and powered by a 283ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 15" American Racing wheels, power steering, front disc brakes, air conditioning, lap belts, aftermarket instrumentation, and an AM/FM radio. Work performed during previous ownership included repainting the exterior and replacing the engine and transmission. The body was refinished in red and white during previous ownership. Styling touches include a “hood bird” hood ornament, chrome side spears and rocker trim, and Bel Air badging.

American Racing 15" wheels are mounted with Hankook Optima tires. The suspension has been lowered, and the car is equipped with power steering, sway bars, and front disc brakes.

The cabin features two-tone upholstery on the seats and door panels, along with red carpets and floor mats. Equipment includes air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, front and rear lap belts, and a Hurst shifter topped with a cue-ball shift knob.

The three-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and sits ahead of a 110-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. An aftermarket tachometer is mounted on the steering column, and additional gauges are housed below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows just under 100k miles, approximately 100 of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.

The 283ci V8 was installed during prior ownership and is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor. The battery has been relocated to the trunk.
